Where have you been?

Well hello there. You know that feeling of being overwhelmed, exhausted and just completely overbooked? Well that has been me. I took over a month off to just get stuff done. Blogging wasn’t in the cards. I hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating the holidays with those nearest and dearest to you.

This last month there was an Irish dance competition, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, selling off over half of my furniture, donating over 15 bags of toys and clothes, trying to shop for Christmas, play dates, sicknesses for all the kids and me, bringing DJ to radiation treatment on his leg, dealing with the puppy, working on the last stages of completion of the house, packing up the current home, hosting Christmas Eve, and everything in between.

I have no idea if you are even still reading this blog. I will try to be better at updating. We are in the midst of packing and finishing the house to move in three weeks from now. Here are some of the snapshots of our life.

Seeing Santa was literally a last minute trip. I am so glad we were able to catch him before he left on his journeys.

Finding our last very tall tree. The new house doesn’t have enormously tall ceilings. The one we picked was close to 20 feet tall.

A snowday meant a lot of running around outside and building two little snowmen.

Making some good ole Polish food for Christmas Eve. Traditions.

How was your December?
