Even though my style for my interiors has changed and maybe even matured over the years, there are certain things that I always gravitate toward. White, mid-century, organic settings, and in some instances, french inspired furniture.
When I started to go through the pieces I had in my previous home, I knew that not everything would or could make the move. The new build had a different esthetic and the amount of space would not accommodate everything.
I had 8 dining room chairs that I really loved in terms of shape, but the fabric wasn’t my favorite. I kept 3 of them and used one for my desk area and the 2 remaining ones for my farm table.
This is the chair. It is so comfortable. It can literally blend in any interior plan. They cost me a fortune and I knew I could make it work.
I purchased a few cow hides and decided to make a go of them using a reputable upholsterer. She was amazing to work with, new exactly what I wanted and took her time. I was in no rush, and I wanted it to be done correctly.
I am psyched with the way they turned out. They are insanely comfortable and durable with my kids. I am thrilled I kept them.
