Wellllll…..hellllllo there. Radio silence again from this little ole blog. I apologize. After Thanksgiving, there was not one day where it was not madness overload on activities. I hope you had a very wonderful, blessed holiday. Around here, it was pretty much great. It was the first Christmas in the new home. It was magical.

We made ornaments this year. The kids had a good time and thought it was cool to watch them slowly bake in the oven.

Miss P became quite the baker for the season and made fresh batches of cookies several times.

Looking for the perfect tree was also a family event, with Poppy and Nana meeting us, a holiday tradition. We actually got two trees this year, one for the basement and one for the upstairs family room.

Although the decorations were minimal, the house was definitely in the holiday spirit. Miss F loved the nutcrackers and would rearrange them every day.

I think our annual Christmas Eve bash was a hit as well. We had new friends join in this year and everyone had a great time.

Wishing you all a wonderful season of memories in the making.
